PAYMENT - We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. All declined credit card orders will be unpacked and charged a 15% restocking fee within 48 hours if you have not contacted us with new payment information.  We no longer accept personal checks or money orders from anyone.  We do not accept Pay-Pal.

ORDERING - Orders may be placed by mail, phone or online. Please be sure order is complete. There is a $10 charge if we have to add to your order or re-pack your order.We cannot guarantee that we will be able to make changes to any orders once they are received as we ship same day.  We have several trucks per day and orders leave at different times to accommodate our same day shipping policy.  We are an internet-based business, which means we have no store in which to shop and we aren't always available to answer the phone.   You can reach us 24/7 by email at customerservice@justscent.com

At the present time we do not have a showroom and have no immediate plans to open a showroom.  We are a warehouse designed for shipping. First and foremost, we are an internet based business.  There is not a “shop” or an area designed or set up for "shopping".  When picking up orders, you will not be permitted in our warehouse for "sniffing" oils.  In order to keep our costs as low as possible, we do not allow customers in our warehouse.  Please do not ask.  You can make arrangements to pick your orders up by calling or emailing 24 hours in advance.  Personal checks are not accepted.  Orders can be pre-paid by credit card or in cash upon arrival.  

 
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS - We welcome all international orders. All international orders will be shipped via the United States Postal Service unless you have specified UPS on your order.  All customs charges will be your responsibility.  We ship all over the world!  Please note the Flashpoints listed on our oils and make sure you have ordered oils that CAN be shipped USPS International.  Oils that cannot be shipped USPS can be shipped UPS.  Only Flashpoints of 200 degrees and above can be shipped USPS; flashpoints of 141 to 200 degrees or higher can be shipped by UPS to International addresses.  This is not a Just Scent "rule".  This is regulated by the US Postal Service.  We will not put our company in jeopardy by breaking the law to ship oils outside the guidelines.

ll USPS customers are responsible for purchasing Insurance and filing USPS insurance claims if necessary.  

 

RETURNS - No returns are accepted for fragrance purchases to ensure the high quality of our products, unless it is our error.   An oil you do not like, is not cause for a return.  We sell samples and send free samples with almost every order; we feel you have many opportunities to try and to test all fragrance oils.  We also sell sample sizes of all bath and body products.   All fragrance, bath and body products and color sales are final. We recommend that you try sample sizes first. 

Fragrance is sold by weight, not volume. Due to the high concentration of our fragrance oils, we strongly suggest that you test them in our products before calling us; as you are aware, fragrance oils smell different in finished products than they do out of the bottle.

Samples - Fragrance Oils and Bath and Body Products - Samples are available for testing.    There are no refunds for samples.  All fragrance, bath and body products and color sales are final.


Please inspect your order upon receipt.  This includes wax.  If you should have a problem with an order, please contact us within 24 hours upon receipt.  After 24 hours, we will conclude that your order was completed accurately and no refunds or exchanges will be accepted after that time.

NON-DELIVERED ORDERS - Should a package be refused or returned to us unopened, the customer shall be charged a restocking fee of 15% of the order amount and/ or pay shipping cost to re-ship the order.

SHIPPING - Shipping rates are calculated as you add items to your shopping cart.  Our web site is integrated with live UPS and Fed Ex shipping data to provide you with accurate shipping charges based on your zip code and the packaged weight of the products ordered.  The more you order, the more cost effective UPS and Fed Ex shipping becomes.  UPS/Fed Ex is dedicated to delivering packages, not letters.  The labor is expended whether you ship a 1 pound package or a 10 pound package; you will notice that a 1 pound package may seem expensive, but a 10 pound package is just slightly higher in price to ship.  As you add items to our shopping cart, it will ask for your zip code.  As you add items to the shopping cart, you can actually watch the shipping chargers to better utilize your dollars.  This works for UPS and Fed Ex.  You can change shipping options in our shopping cart to see which shipping company will save you the most money.  All orders shipped in the United States are shipped UPS or FED EX.  We only utilize USPS for International orders.  We reserve the right to switch your shipping options from Fed Ex to UPS or vice versa at our discretion.  You will not be charged for any additional charges if the new shipping method rate is higher. 

WE WILL NOT SHIP USING YOUR SHIPPER NUMBER FOR UPS OR FED EX.

We are not responsible for packages left for delivery and you are not home.  If you wish to have packages delivered to you - in person, please make a note on your order, in the Special Instructions Section to have your package signed for.  Without this information, your order is subject to be left at your home - without notification that it has arrived.  Make sure your email address is correct when placing orders; your order confirmation and shipping confirmation will go to the email address you use in your orders.  If you use an alternate email address to place orders, make sure you check that email address to get your confirmations.  If you make a typo, you will not receive your notifications.  Except weekends, we ship same day.  We have a UPS shipping map located on our shipping page.

 DAMAGED SHIPMENTS - You have the right to refuse damaged shipments!  Do not accept damaged goods from carriers. All orders leave our warehouses in excellent condition. All damage claims must be reported within 24hours to delivery carriers.  We pack all of our shipments very carefully to ensure the safe arrival of your products; however damage during shipping can happen from time to time.  We do everything we can prior to shipping to make sure your package will arrive safely without damages.  You have the right to refuse damaged boxes. If this occurs, please contact us and we can re-ship your order. We will deal with UPS and take care of the damaged items.  Should you receive a damaged UPS package, please contact us immediately.  You must let us know if you have a problem so we can file a claim and get your order re-shipped.  In many cases, we know about a damaged shipment before it arrives and we will ship a new order out as soon as the shipping company lets us know! 

When corresponding with us, please be sure to check the email address you have written to us on.  Many of you have several email addresses and we reply to the email address you correspond to us with or the email you have provided when you placed your order.  If you have several names, please be sure to use the name you place orders with.   Most of the time, we recognize your ordering name or email address, but not your alternate emails/names.  Many times, we get  notes saying we have not responded - but you have neglected to check the email address you actually used to send us a note.  We work with what you have provided to us.  

CHANGE OF ADDRESS - If you have previously ordered and are placing an order for a new address or a different address - PLEASE let us know.  Your address is already in our shipping data base.  It is very easy to recognize a name and not realize it is being shipped to a new address, especially with the amount of orders we receive and ship on a daily basis.  Simply type a note in the Special Instructions Section of the shopping cart and make us aware of the address change.  Is it a permanent change or a one time only shipping arrangement?  Do we discard the previous address and use the new address?  We will not be responsible for orders that have shipped incorrectly if you have not made us aware of an address change.
