SAME DAY SHIPPING - All UPS and Fed Ex shipments are shipped same day on all orders received prior to 2 pm. All USPS International orders are shipped on Tuesday and Thursday. We reserve the right to ship your package either UPS or Fed Ex orders at our discretion with no additional charge to you.
HAVE YOU MOVED? If you have placed orders with Just Scent and have moved since you last ordered, please make sure to note you have moved. Your name and address is stored in our shipping database. If you have not notified us of your move, it is possible your order will be shipped to your old address. If you have moved or are moving, please let us know so we can update our shipping records. If you have not made us aware of an address change, your order will be shipped to the address we have on record. You will then be responsible for paying to have the order re-shipped. Just send us an email or add a note to the Special Instructions section as you are checking out so we can make note of the address change!
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS - We welcome all international orders. All international orders will be shipped via the United States Postal Service unless you have specified UPS on your order. All customs charges will be your responsibility. We will also ship to APO and FPO addresses via the US Postal service. We are happy to say we ship all over the world! Please be aware that when choosing International Parcel Post, shipments can take a couple of days up to a month. All USPS Priority Mail is sent uninsured, unless you pay extra for the insurance. We cannot be responsible for any damage caused by the post office if you do not pay for the additional insurance.
WE ARE CLOSED WEEKENDS – as well as all national holidays and do not ship during these times. However, you can order via our secure on-line shopping cart 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Your order will be shipped the next business day following weekends or holidays.
ORDER PICK UP - Local customers may save shipping costs by picking up orders. Order pickup is by appointment only giving at least 24 hours notice. Orders must be pre-paid by credit card or in cash at the time of pick-up. WE DO NOT ACCEPT CHECKS!
SHIPPING RATES - are calculated at checkout. Our web site is integrated with live UPS and Fed Ex shipping data to provide you with accurate shipping charges based on your zip code and the packaged weight of the products ordered. The more you order, the more cost effective UPS and Fed Ex shipping becomes. UPS/Fed Ex is dedicated to delivering packages, not letters. The labor is expended whether you ship a 1 pound package or a 10 pound package; you will notice that a 1 pound package may seem expensive, but a 10 pound package is just slightly higher in price to ship. As you add items to our shopping cart, it will ask for your zip code. As you add items to the shopping cart, you can actually watch the shipping chargers to better utilize your dollars. This works for UPS, Fed Ex and USPS International orders. There is not an option for USPS Air Letter. We can ship Air Letter as long as the packaged box does not weigh over 4 pounds. You can change shipping options in our shopping cart to see which shipping company will save you the most money.
DOMESTIC/USA ORDERS ARE SHIPPED VIA UPS and Fed Ex. UPS and Fed Ex tracking numbers are sent with all shipments. We use the exact e-mail address you use when placing orders to send all e-mail notifications. If you have used an incorrect e-mail address or an email address you do not normally use, you will of course not receive your notification. We do not ship commercial rates. We reserve the right to switch your shipping options from Fed Ex to UPS or vice versa at our discretion. You will not be charged for any additional charges if the new shipping method rate is higher.
Please inspect your order upon receipt. If you should have a problem with an order, please contact us within 48 hours upon receipt. After 48 hours, we will conclude that your order was completed accurately and no refunds or exchanges will be accepted after that time.
We cannot and will not accommodate requests for special favors to have your order shipped by USPS unless you are an international customer. We do not ship UPS Collect, UPS Third Party, nor will we ship using your shipper number.
DAMAGED SHIPMENTS – You have the right to refuse damaged shipments! Do not accept damaged goods from carriers. All orders leave our warehouses in excellent condition. All damage claims must be reported within 48 hours to delivery carriers. We pack all of our shipments very carefully to ensure the safe arrival of your products; however damage during shipping can happen from time to time. We do everything we can prior to shipping to make sure your package will arrive safely without damages. You have the right to refuse damaged boxes. If this occurs, please contact us and we can re-ship your order. We will deal with UPS or Fed Ex and take care of the damaged items. Should you receive a damaged package, please contact us immediately. You MUST save your original packaging materials in order to file a claim. Proof of breakage must be made to the carrier, so it is very important that all original packaging materials are saved.
REFUSED SHIPMENTS - will be billed shipping charges and a 25% restocking fee will be incurred.
NON-DELIVERED ORDERS - Should a package be refused or returned to us unopened, the customer shall be charged a restocking fee of 15% of the order amount and/ or pay shipping cost to re-ship the order.
